We at Images have been piercing ears for over 29 years. We use the highest quality piercing studs manufactured by a British based company called Caflon. Caflon is an industry leader and one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of ear piercing equipment in the world, with distribution to over 100 countries.Our employees go through a thorough and rigorous training period prior to piercing ears. Their training includes time with a registered nurse to learn about the “science” of ear piercing and how it can affect the human body, and how to handle unknown circumstances should they arise. Unlike places that offer ear piercing at kiosks in shopping malls, Images doesn’t have the turnover rate with our employees. Our combined experience totals over 40 years piercing ears with a humble estimation that Images alone, a single store, has pierced over 100,000 ears. Our piercing studs are made from hypoallergenic materials such as Surgical Stainless Steel and 24 kt. gold over Surgical Stainless Steel, therefore they will not cause allergies or irritation. All piercing studs come packaged in presterilized blister packs. Piercing studs are nickel and alloy free.
Children’s Ear Piercing
Images specialty for over 29 years has been children’s ear piercing. We pierce both ears simultaneously for children 3 months to 10 years old (and sometimes a little older!), therefore they only have to have it done once! Children love this concept as much as their parents, as it eliminates the potential result of leaving with only one ear pierced. We pride ourselves on providing a wholesome child friendly environment: children receive a reward immediately after the piercing and we take their photo to post on our Ear Piercing Wall! They love it!!

Procedure
We will ask you to fill out a consent form which explains the proper care instructions and allows us to perform the piercing.  Minors under the age of 18 years will be required to provide parent or guardian consent. We will then clean your ear lobe with an alcohol prep pad. We then use a vegetable based non-toxic ink pen to mark the lobe where we think the earrings should go. We may move the dots several times until we get it perfect! We will then ask you to check the dots to make sure you like the location. If you are not satisfied, we will move the dots until you are happy! We will then ask you to pick from our selection board. We offer approximately 30 different styles of piercing studs. We will then retrieve your individual presterilized pack of earrings. We use a spring loaded gun system. We will then load your earrings into the piercing gun and perform the piercing. After, we will thoroughly go over the after care instructions with you.
Prices
Price includes service and pair of piercing studs. Piercing studs come in a pre-sterilized pack, therefore even if only 1 piercing is performed, the customer purchases the pair. Often customers wanting a single piercing bring in a friend to “split” the pair. We also offer the cleaning solution for $2.50 which we strongly recommend as it kills bacteria, has no scent, and does not sting.
